St. Patrick’s GAA Club will host its Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday December 3rd at the Gaelic American Club, 74 Beach Road, Fairfield. The Club will honor Jarlath & Celine Carbin as the Club’s “Gaels of the Year” for their many years of hard work and dedication to promoting and sustaining youth Gaelic football & hurling in Fairfield County including service as Officers of the Club, delegates to the Minor Board of the N.Y. GAA, and countless hours volunteering at the Cul Camp and U8 Tournaments over the years.
In addition to our Gaels of the Year, St. Patrick’s will recognize Daniel Enright as the Club’s 2022 Senior Team Gaelic Football Player of the Year. In his inaugural year with St. Patrick’s, Dan’s inspirational play at centre back, fierce scoring threat when surging forward, and solid leadership throughout the NY GAA 2022 Junior Division Championship have earned him the hard won title of “Player of the Year”.
The night begins at 6:30pm with traditional Irish Music followed by the ever-popular Padraig Allen and his McLean Avenue band. O’Neills Pub of South Norwalk will be serving a hearty Irish meal and there will be an Open Bar. Tickets are only $100. (Discounted ticket price for senior citizens is available.)
