Please mark your calendars! There will be a General Membership meeting on Sunday 29 August at 6PM upstairs at the Gaelic American Club. The purpose of this meeting is to provide St. Patrick’s members with detailed information on the upcoming fall season, the Annual Golf Tournament and Annual Dinner Dance.

Adult Game Saturday 8/28

There will be an adult game this Saturday at Tomlinson Field from 5:30-7:30 PM. ALL adults are welcome to participate. This will be an intra-club game with a short clinic before hand for those interested in learning the basics of Gaelic football.

Reminders:

The GAA Gaelic football games will be aired at the GAC beginning at 9am on Sunday morning. The minors will start at 9:00 and the Senior game will begin at 10:30. This is a last semi-final game before the All Ireland final. A full Irish breakfast will be available.
There will be a General Membership meeting at 6PM on Sunday 8/29. The meeting will take place on the second floor of the GAC.

General Membership Meeting – 29 August

There will be a General Membership meeting next Sunday 29 August at 6PM upstairs at the Gaelic American Club. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide the St. Patrick’s members with an update on the Fall Season, the Annual Golf Tournament, and the Annual Dinner Dance. We will also have updates on various club fund raising activities and ad hoc committees.

Please join us for the meeting to help your club continue the great momentum for rest of 2010.

Also of note, the semi-final All-Ireland Gaelic football games will be broadcast at the Gaelic American Cub this Sunday starting at 9 AM. The first match will feature minor teams from Mayo v Tyrone. The Seniors from Cork and Dublin will square off at 10:30 am for what looks to be a great match. Be sure to come hungry as a Full Irish Breakfast will be available for all patrons.

Congratulations to Patrick O’Leary & Fairfield Little League

A special congratulations goes out to U14 player Patrick O’Leary who is also a member of the Fairfield American Little League team that will be representing Connecticut and the Northeast Region of USA in the Little League World Series.

Great work Patrick. St. Patrick’s will be cheering for you all the way!

Annual Golf Tournament & Fundraiser

St. Patrick’s G.F.C. will host our 2nd annual Golf Tournament on Tuesday September 14, 2010. This is a critically important fundraiser for our Club. Please do whatever you can to make this event a success.

Rockland U8 Tournament Update

This weekend Rockland GAA will be opening a new pitch in Orangeburg, NY. St. Patrick’s U8s will be participating in U8 tournament throughout the day on July 24. Registration starts at 9:15 and games will be played into the afternoon. Our U8 had a great set of games two weeks ago and hopefully they can continue the great work.

Adult Football Game This Saturday

There will an under 35 vs. over 35 game this Saturday evening @ 5.00 sharp at Tomlinson middle school. The last time these 2 teams played there were a lot new faces on the under 35 team, so this time the over 35 team will be ready for anything thrown there way. Hope to see you all there Saturday.
